In the first sermon in the series, "Jesus Is the Question," looking at the questions Jesus asks, Russ looks at one of the few questions that Jesus repeats. According to John’s Gospel, Jesus asks this question repeatedly and in different circumstances. Several times in his ministry and life he asks: “What are you looking for?”
In many ways this is a question that all of us wrestle with in our lives. We all long for the presence of God with a deep, aching hunger, but that we don’t always know how to fill it. The truth is, we don’t always know what we are looking for.
