In the last of this series, we look at the story of the magi, one that ranks right up there with some of the greatest stories ever told.   At that time, there is much fear in Herod and Jerusalem.  There is much fear in the USA today.  Fear-anger-hate; it is a terrible equation, one that all too often leads to violence.   But the magi are not on a mission of hatred.  All they want to do is express their devotion to Emmanuel / to God with us.  They want to honor the one who will come with a message of hope and peace and love.  Perhaps thats what this world needs now, more desperately than ever, are people who more than anything is the worship and love.
