On August 22, the group will be discussing Have You Seen Luis Valez? by Catherine Ryan Hyde. This is an uplifting story about finding kindness and the goodness of people when and where it’s least expected.  Sixteen year old Raymond meets Millie, a 92 year old blind woman who lives in his apartment block.  His friendship with Millie is beautiful as she becomes the kind and wise older person that has been missing from his life and Raymond realizes that family does not have to be restricted to those you are related to.
