In Christian churches, Maundy Thursday is when we remember Jesus washing the disciples feet and instituting the "Lord's Supper" (also known as the Last Supper, Eucharist, or Communion). This year, we will reenact what Jesus might have been doing and eating on that "night before he was betrayed." We know that Jesus was gathered with his disciples to celebrate the Passover meal. This meal was and is a special family-centered celebration and remembrance of the angel of death "passing over" the homes of the Israelites and their subsequent freedom from slavery (Exodus 12:1-39). We are blessed to have Debbi Pollak, Alex Mikesell, and Lindsay Bush to help guide us through this celebration.
